Banana Pudding Cupcakes

Yesterday I got this random idea in my head...what if I made cupcakes with a vanilla wafer and slice of banana baked inside?? Today that idea took shape and this of the outcome..

It was very very yummy.

This is what I did:

1.) Made one box of yellow cake mix.

2.)Put one vanilla wafer in the bottom of each cupcake wrapper.

3.) I then cut thick slices of banana to put on top of the vanilla wafer. {I used almost two whole bananas total}

4.) I then filled the cupcake wrapper almost to the top with the yellow cake mix!!

5.) I then backed them for about 20 minutes and let them cool.

6.) After they had cooled I made a banana, cream cheese icing to go on top.
-1 stick of butter (room tempt)
-1 package of cream cheese (room tempt)
-pour in some powered sugar
-a splash of banana flavoring
-splash of milk (I used some heavy whipping cream this time since we had some}
Then just used a hand mixer to beat into icing!!

7.) I then put a nice amount of the banana icing on to of each cupcake.

8.) After I iced them I topped them off with crushed up vanilla wafter on top. Too cute!! :)

9.) Ta Da!! Yummy cupcakes!!

They aren't overly sweet, yet very tasty. Also had some cool textures going on. Even the boy thought they were yummmmmy.
